How HHR Can Help

Home Safe Home Program

The Home Safe Home Program works with families to help identify and prevent possible injuries to children in the home. The Home Safe Home Program is dedicated to providing families with the knowledge and tools to eliminate potential hazards to children in the home. For families with children under the age of six years old, Healthy Home Resources provides a Family Services Specialist who will help parents and caretakers understand child safety and work to identify possible hazards to young children. The Family Services Specialist provides the family with necessary safety devices including safety gates, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, and cabinet locks.

As a free injury prevention program for families with children six and under. Home Safe Home uses proven methods to reduce accidental injuries in the home by educating and doing home improvements.
